Constitution
1) The name of this Society is Princeton Community Arts Council (hereinafter referred to as Society).
2) The purposes of this Society shall be to increase and broaden the opportunities for residents of Princeton and Area H to enjoy and participate in cultural activities and shall include the following activities:
a) To increase the public’s appreciation of the arts and to provide opportunities for the public to experience and participate in the arts by operating a community arts council.
b) To hold an annual week-long arts and culture festival and operate an art gallery for the benefit of the public.
3) The operations of the Society are to be chiefly carried on in and around Princeton and Area H in the province of British Columbia. This provision is alterable.
4) Upon dissolution and after payment of all debts and liabilities, all remaining assets will be given to a qualified donee described in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act. This provision is unalterable.
